Is it possible for me to see auction items in person?

Yes. You can schedule an appointment to view items in person by calling or texting Angeni at 541-799-4976.

Are there buyer's fees?

All auctions are subject to a 10% buyer’s fee charge.

Example: Let’s say an auction has a buyer’s fee of 10%. That means if your winning bid is $100, your final invoice total will be $110.

You will only incur charges if you are the winning bidder on an auction.

How does an online timed auction end?

Online timed auctions close at a scheduled set date and time. All auctions switch to a live catalog within 30 minutes of closing. Our timed auctions may be advertised to end at a specific time, but that does not mean the entire auction ends at once.

All of our online timed auctions have staggered endings. This means that there is a set time in between each lots’ ending, which usually is about 30 seconds.

Example: Lot 1 closes at 10:00:00 a.m, Lot 2 closes at 10:00:30, Lot 3 closes at 10:01.

So even though this auction is scheduled to close on a Saturday at 10 a.m., with the staggered lots, it will actually take longer to come to a complete end.

Our auctions feature extended bidding to prevent “sniping”. If bidding is still active on an item 2 minutes prior to that item closing, the item will continue to stay open until all bidding has ended. Once bidding has ended on a lot that item will close.

How long do West End Auction's monthly auctions last?

Our monthly auctions range from 8 to 10 days.

How can I see the status of items I've placed bids on?

Log into your online account to keep track of what you’ve bidded on.

How do I know if I've won an online auction?

You can log into your online account to see what items you won. You will receive an invoice via email within 24 hours of the auction ending.

Note: You may need to check your spam folder for invoices.

How do I pay for items?

Payment terms are specified in the auction’s terms and conditions. Cash, credit, and debit are accepted. Business checks are accepted with a bank letter of credit.

Sorry, no personal checks will be accepted.

How soon will I be payed for my items that sell?

We mail checks out 3 days after an auction ends.

Can items be shipped?

Shipping and insurance is always at the expense of the buyer. Any item that’s shippable is marked. Shipping is available to anywhere in the U.S.

While we are not a shipping company, we can assist with the crating, palletizing, or packaging of your items. We don’t charge a handling or packaging fee.

West End Auction is not responsible for items damaged during the shipping and handling process. Further questions about shipping can be directed to us.

When can I pick up items that I win?

Our auctions always end on Thursdays. Load out days are Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and Monday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Items not picked up during the 3-day load-out period will be subject to a $10-per-day storage fee. Items not picked up after two weeks will be forfeited.
